Win Cookina Non-Stick Sheets

image011-2Move over aluminum foil, wax paper and parchment paper! There’s a new sheriff in town–COOKINA! 3 lucky Appetite For Health fans will win COOKINA Non-Stick Sheets!

How many of you have non-stick  pans? How many of you don’t have to use aluminum foil, wax paper or parchment paper on your non-stick pans? I bet it’s not many. Maybe you spread some type of fat across your pan like  olive oil, butter or crisco, but that can add a lot of calories.  Sometimes I spray my pan with cooking spray, which saves me some calories but I’d rather not have that extra flavor with my fresh food. So, when I found COOKINA, a fat-free way to bake and grill and keep my oven clean, I literally jumped for joy!

COOKINA is so easy to use!  All you have to do is place COOKINA Barbecue Reusable Grilling Sheet on grill, then place food on the sheet. You’ll see that none of the sauces seep through so you won’t have to clean up caked on, burnt juices.  What’s really cool about the Barbecue Reusable Grilling Sheet is that it achieves professional level grill marks and all you have to do is simply wipe the non-stick sheet off and reuse all summer long! The oven protector is my special favorite.  You lay it down in the bottom of your oven and slide it out when you’re done baking.  No scouring on your hands and knees needed!

It’s time to stop struggling with your cookies, chicken and grilled veggies. Be one of 3 lucky AFH fans to win COOKINA and receive 1 grilling sheet, 1 oven protector and 1 Cuisine Reusable Cooking Sheet (a $40 value)! Here’s how to win:

Burning cheese in an iron skillet.

I like both pages and get your emails. After halloween, I picked up some rice krispie haunted house making kits from kroger for $.99 each. I thought, what a cheap way to make treats. I have three kids, and it seemed like a good idea. They each made a very small batch, so I decided to make two at once. Instead of marshmallows, they came with a pack of cream that you microwaved and then squeezed into the cereal. Apparently, making two wasn’t a good idea, because in the time it took to squeeze out the second pack, the first had already started to set up. I just had this marshmallow cream meteor in a bowl of dry cereal. Everything was sticky because I had been squeezing the pouch out with my hands, then had to go directly into mixing. I ended up having to dump the whole thing in the skillet with more marshmallows in order to get it to mix up at all.

  3. I am signed up for the newsletter and like both AFH & Cookina on facebook. The most sticky cooking situation I ever encountered was the first time I made coconut macaroons. I let them cool on the baking sheet and they were impossible to remove whole!

  4. Sticky in the sense of truthfulness of “vegan.” I over steamed my cauliflower for my vegan cream sauce. The only way to save it (after trying lemon juice): white sugar & sour cream!

  5. Harriet S. says:

My Corning Ware from the 1980’s no longer has a surface! Barbequed chicken was it’s last dish, before having to line it with aluminum foil each time. Would love a less metallic alternative for lining the casserole pan…

  6. While taking homemade pizza off pizza stone, bottom crust was not cooked all the way and the center fell through and apart, all over the stone, the rack and the bottom of the oven. It burned up on all the things it touched. Pain to scrub off and the smell….

Years ago a neighbor left a caramel pie at my doorstep. It was delicious and so much like the pie from O’Charley’s. I asked her how she made it and she said you boil a couple of cans of condensed milk for something like 6 hours. Well, I didn’t hear the part about when you open the cans after boiling that so much pressure has built up and to put a towel over the cans. 40. My worst sticking episodes definitely are related to fish… both trying to grill it (even on top of aluminum foil) and in the pan…. Only way I can safely make fish and not have it stick is to pop it in the oven inside a parchment paper packet.
