I’m a major fan of kettlebell workouts because they combine strength and aerobic training, a “two-fer” that torches calories and saves time. Kettlebells deliver a total body workout that develops power, strength, coordination and flexibility. And, although I’m not exactly a newbie with the bells, I learned a couple new combinations and really enjoyed “Ultimate Kettlebell Workouts for Beginners.” To make it a bit harder, I used a bigger kettlebell than the gals on the DVD, so that the workouts were definitely a challengePaul Katami

Katami, who trained Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper on kettlebells, has a really nice style of teaching and stresses good form and going at your own pace.     So far I am down 75 pounds and almost half way to my weight loss goal. I recently started running to prepare myself for the Des Moines Marathon in September but I am realizing that I need to be alternating in strength training sessions to tone my muscles and increase weight loss even more.     I would love to win the kettlebelle DVD for two major reasons: One, since the gym near me closed down, I’ve tried two others, but both were not great for my needs; and since then, I’ve been doing a lot at home. The kettlebelle workout would add a lot of what I’m still missing. And two, my friend has started working with kettlebelles and she has been telling me how much they work for her – her advice has always been spot on, so I’ve been wanting to try them!!

    I work out every morning before school, and I use my Jillian Michaels and Tae Bo exercise DVDs. I am always looking to add variety to my workout routine, especially since we started a wellness committee at out school, trying to get teachers in shape. I would LOVE to try this video to add some variety! Teaching is very stressful, and exercise is essential to relieve my stress.

    I’m overweight & and so my friend recommended the appetite for health web page to me. Since then I’ve embarked on a journey to eat healthy as a means of taking back my health and ultimately my health. I started to run and I’ve lost 10 pounds so far but my arms are sagging.     I would love to win the DVD so I could get back in shape. My husband is a competitive powerlifter and I used to go to the gym and work out with him. Since then I broke my back, had foot surgery, and had several surgeries due to Crohn’s disease. I am now “healthy” and can work out again. This looks like a perfect place to start and something I can do at home so I am not intimidated.
