Greek yogurt is one of our favorite superfoods. It has a wonderful thick and creamy texture and because it’s strained, it has twice as much protein as traditional yogurt.
To help you enjoy more Greek yogurt and everything you can make with it, our generous friends at Chobani are providing 10 Appetite for Health fans a chance to win a CASE of Chobani Greek yogurt!
For great ideas on how to use Greek yogurt to make our favorite recipes better-for-you, check out our recent post, 10 Best Ways to Enjoy Greek Yogurt as well as the Chobani Kitchen. At the Chobani Kitchen, you’ll find great ideas for making everything from coleslaw to vanilla cupcakes (pictured at right) using Chobani Greek yogurt. There’s also a handy conversion chart for how to use Chobani as a better substitute for many ingredients, including butter, oil and mayonnaise. Hopefully, it will inspire you to try cooking or baking more with Greek yogurt… and that’s where Chobani and winning today’s giveaway can help.
In case you’re unfamiliar with Chobani Greek yogurt, here’s some background: Chobani’s centuries-old straining technique creates yogurt that has two times more protein than regular yogurt, and less sodium, sugar and carbohydrates. Their plain yogurts are made from two ingredients: milk and live active cultures. For their flavored varieties, they add fruit and evaporated cane juice.
Chobani yogurt is also….
· Free of synthetic growth hormones. (Milk from cows not treated with rBST)
· Contains only natural ingredients and 5 live & active cultures, including 3 probiotics.
· Made with real fruit.

I’m always trying to get my dad to eat healthier and he loves mayo. So any recipe that calls for mayo such as egg salad, potato salad or chicken salad, I’m going to replace the mayo with plain greek yogurt. Also, I would add greek yogurt to smoothies to pump up the protein in it as well add creaminess.
I use greek yogurt in just about everything! From pancakes, to cakes, to sauces, it’s very versatile! I’m trying to get my husband to eat it more so if I won this it would be nice to let him try the flavors in new recipes and maybe he’ll learn to love it more! Sharing away!!
