I absolutely love Joseph’s Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas. With 7 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber it’s a perfect pre OR post-workout grain to add into my training diet.
I eat them for breakfast by smearing natural peanut butter and sliced bananas drizzled with agave nectar. I also eat them for lunch with grilled chicken breast, and stir fried zucchini with sprinkled fresh parmesan cheese for more flavor!
For dinner I serve them with grilled shrimp, sliced avocado, a few drops of hot sauce and fresh salsa! I like them not only because they are higher in protein than most wraps and contribute to favorable blood sugar levels…but also because they are lighter than most wraps and are not overly filling. I can taste more of what’s inside the wrap than the wrap itself. Truly Delicious!
