I just returned from a major natural products trade show where I literally nibbled and sipped my way through thousands of food and beverage exhibits. I managed to stuff my bags with samples of products I loved and headed home to share them with you.
One of my favorite finds from the show is Attune Probiotic Granola Munch. All Attune products contain at least 1 billion beneficial probiotics (normally present in yogurt with live, active cultures) per serving, but this Granola is the perfect blend of whole grains and a little bit of yogurt or chocolate chips (chocolate flavor). Since the granola contains active cultures, you’ll find it in the refrigerated yogurt section of the supermarket not in the cereal aisle.
Munch is made with whole grain oats, provides 120 calories per ounce (like many other granolas) but has an impressive 3 grams fiber, and is surprisingly low in added sugars because they used all-natural, 0-calorie, Stevia-based sweetener along with brown sugar. My only ding on this product is that it has one gram saturated fat from palm oil, but even that’s not too bad. It tastes so good, I find it hard to eat just one serving, so I have found sprinkling it over my Greek yogurt in the am is a great breakfast.
